HOUSING

Campers to elect to stay on campus are housed in JMU dormitory rooms. The dorm is used exclusively for camp members during this time.....and they love it! Their counselors, JMU music students, supervise their activities while in the dorm and make sure that lights go out in a timely manner at the end of the day!

Students will be housed in dormitories, two per room. There will be no triple occupancy housing available. Each dormitory will be staffed with a head counselor and counselors in each section providing competent supervision for all students. Unless you have previously requested a roommate (request available on application), one will be assigned to you. Because of the large number of participants and limited registration period, no changes can be made to rooming assignments on opening day.

DINING

The JMU dining hall (D-Hall) is one of the students favorite places to go during camp. They offer a wide variety of delicious and nutritious food, and the campers always go away happy.

The Office of Conference Housing will issue an official meal card to each resident camper that will be used to gain access to the JMU dining facilities. These cards must be kept with the students at ALL times. Access to the dining halls will be denied without the meal card and if lost, must be replaced at the camper’s expense.
